Vensale takes intellectual property (IP) rights seriously. This policy describes how we protect our own IP assets, how we respect the rights of third parties โ including sellers and brands on our platform โ and the process we follow when IP concerns are raised.
All IP rights in the Vensale platform, brand, content, and technology belong to Vensale or our licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any IP rights to users or sellers.
The Vensale name, the orange 'V' shopping cart logo, taglines, and product names are trademarks of Vensale, registered or otherwise protected under Nigerian and international trademark law. You may not use Vensale's trademarks, trade dress, or branding in any manner that could cause confusion, dilution, or reputational harm without our prior written consent.
All original content created by or for Vensale โ including website text, graphics, UI design, product photography, marketing materials, video content, code, and data compilations โ is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Vensale's copyrighted content without written authorisation.
Vensale's platform technology, proprietary algorithms, recommendation engines, pricing logic, and supplier data constitute valuable trade secrets protected under Nigerian law. Any unauthorised access to, disclosure of, or use of Vensale's confidential technology is strictly prohibited.

Sellers on the Vensale marketplace are solely responsible for ensuring that their product listings, descriptions, images, and brand names do not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party. By listing on Vensale, sellers represent and warrant that they have the right to sell the listed products and use any associated IP.
Vensale reserves the right to remove any listing that we reasonably believe infringes third-party IP rights, without notice to the seller and without liability to Vensale.
Vensale has a zero-tolerance policy towards counterfeit, fake, or unauthorised goods. Selling infringing products on our platform will result in:
If you are a rights holder and believe your IP is being infringed on vensale.app, please email info@vensale.app with the subject 'IP Complaint', including:
Vensale will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 2 business days and aim to complete our investigation within 7 business days. Where infringement is confirmed, the infringing content will be removed promptly.
If you are a seller whose listing has been removed following an IP complaint and you believe the removal was in error, you may submit a counter-notice to info@vensale.app within 10 days. Your counter-notice should explain why the listing does not infringe the complainant's rights and include supporting documentation.
